Vivo has launched the Y31t 5G smartphone in India. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at Rs 25,999. The variant with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 29,999. The top version, also with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at Rs 34,999. Select bank cards bring an instant cashback of Rs 1,500.
The phone is on sale through the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, and authorised retail stores. It comes in three colours: Crimson Red, Sheshor Green, and Golden Mist.
The Y31t 5G has a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,250 nits. It runs Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 layer. Inside is an octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip built on a 4-nanometre process, paired with an Adreno 613 graphics unit. It uses LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and supports dual SIM cards.
The battery is rated at 7,200 mAh and supports 44W fast charging. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor handles unlocking. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The camera system uses a 50-megapixel main sensor with a 2-megapixel secondary rear camera, plus an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. Vivo says the phone has passed Military Grade durability tests and a drop-resistance certification under the Fast Star rating. The large 7,200 mAh battery is the headline feature, aimed at users who want a phone that lasts more than a day on a single charge.
The Y31t 5G sits in the competitive mid-range segment, where buyers weigh battery life, build quality, and price. With IP68 and IP69 ratings, the device is rated to survive dust and water exposure beyond what ordinary phones handle.
