Mango, one of the prominent fashion groups in Europe extends towards sustainable fashion by including circulatory criteria in their designs so that the products are reusable and easily recyclable. The company’s new garments in the denim collections are designed with a single type of 100% cotton fiber hence adding key features like sustainability and circularity. They have also removed additional accessories from the labels.

Mango, which deals with global designs, is targeting achieving minimal waste during the developmental process. They have introduced 3D digital design technology which minimizes the sample required for the developing process.

This is the first strategy that the company will be incorporating to use sustainability in its framework. They are determined to assimilate the idea of circular design. So, their products have 100% sustainable origin by the year 2030.

The company’s new collection includes pants, skirts, jumpsuits, cropped vests, and jackets from Mango Woman in denim with dirty washes. Mango will include both indigo and black colors with current on-trend silhouettes. The denim pants will be mostly low-waist and will be designed in the cargo, frayed, and the details of the wide cut.

Mango is aiming to minimize the environmental impact following the development of its garment collection. They are concentrating on the amount of chemical and water use. They have also introduced graphic labels to minimize the use of paper usually restored for label making.

Mango’s sustainable denim collection campaign is led by an American model Indira Scott who has been selected for her freshness and commitment to the environment. Also, the photographs are taken by photographer Dario Catellani.
