Meta announced a new physical device at its Connect 2026 event: Muse Charm, a pocket-sized companion intended to give users access to Meta’s Muse AI service on the go. The device is expected to ship around the December 2026 holidays. No price has been announced.
Muse is Meta’s AI agent service — software that can carry out tasks, answer questions, and maintain context across interactions. Muse Charm is separate from that: it is hardware. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg presented it as a small device designed to fit in a pocket or attach to a keychain, functioning as a portable access point to Muse without requiring a phone to be in hand. The device was not ready to ship at the time of announcement. Meta has not yet released complete technical specifications, including battery capacity and final connectivity details. TechCrunch reported the device includes a digital display.
The device being small enough for a keychain does not mean it operates without any supporting infrastructure.
