A related entity, Cove Communities Venture 2 Medmerry PropCo Limited, a sister property vehicle, has also entered administration. Adam Paxton and Robert Croxen of Alvarez & Marsal were appointed as administrators, with the insolvency notice dated September 8. The 100-acre, 308-chalet holiday village near Bracklesham Bay closed in April 2024 after flooding during Storm Kathleen overwhelmed coastal defenses, and multiple outlets confirm it will not reopen.
For holiday-home owners and creditors, this administration is an insolvency and ownership event affecting the corporate entities behind an already-closed site, not a live operational crisis at a trading resort.
