Letchworth State Park is a natural wonder located in New York. Also known as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” any compare it to the Grand Canyon in Arizona, which is without a doubt larger. However, this does not take away from the beauty and charm that the Park brings to the table. The landmark is tucked between Livingston County and Wyoming County, located in western New York. It spans 14,000 acres, and there are several attractions to keep visitors entertained. The waterfalls are one of the most stunning main attractions, and there are three of them. The Upper Falls, the Lower Falls, and the Middle Falls

The Upper Falls and Lower Falls are both sights to behold, standing at 70 and 107 feet, respectively. The waterfalls cascade into an image that is sure to leave you speechless and awe-inspired. They exude beauty and power. There are several other notable falls in the park, such as Wolf Creek Falls. These falls contain four cascading waterfalls that plunge 225 feet into a gorge that lies below. Another such fall is Inspiration Falls, which is a 350-foot seasonal waterfall that flows during heavy rain or following the melting of snow.

Letchworth State Park also offers over 60 miles of hiking trails. Such trails are known for providing opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the park’s picturesque landscapes. The most popular hike is the Gorge Hike, which leads visitors to all three of the major waterfalls.
