The IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination admit card for 2026 is now live on the official IBPS portal. If you have registered for the clerk recruitment drive, you need to download your call letter before the exam date. Here is exactly how to do it and what to check once it downloads.

How to Download Your IBPS Clerk Prelims Admit Card

  1. Go to the official IBPS website and navigate to the call-letter section for CRP Customer Service Associate (CSA)-XVI.
  2. Enter your registration number and date of birth, or your registration number and password.
  3. Click submit and download the PDF.
  4. Print your admit card and bring it to the exam centre; follow the instructions on your call letter for what is required at your specific centre.

Check the call letter the moment it downloads. Confirm that your name, photograph, exam date, reporting time, and exam centre address are correct. If any detail is wrong, contact IBPS directly before the exam date.

Exam Details

The Telegraph India reported that the IBPS Clerk Prelims 2026 admit card was released for recruitment against 11,403 posts in the original notification. Note that vacancy figures were subsequently revised to 11,663 in an updated IBPS notification — confirm the current figure against the official IBPS vacancy notification PDF, not secondary news sources.

The Preliminary Examination is scheduled for October 10–11, 2026. It tests English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability, in a 60-minute objective format.

Documents to Carry to the Exam Centre

  • Printed admit card
  • One original government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, voter ID, or driving licence)
  • Passport-sized photographs (the number is specified on your individual call letter)

Do not carry electronic devices into the examination hall. Most centres prohibit watches, earphones, and bags. Check the instructions printed on your admit card for centre-specific rules.

What Comes After the Prelims

Candidates who clear the Preliminary round qualify for the IBPS Clerk Main Examination. The Main exam covers General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude, with a longer time window. Admit cards for the Mains are published separately once prelims results are declared. Check our guide to IBPS exam preparation for an overview of both stages.

Bookmark the official IBPS portal and check back after results are declared for the Mains admit card link.
