CLNP (Crater Lake National Park) is located in southern Oregon, USA. The main attraction of the CLNP is its stunningly blue crater lake, formed from a collapsed volcano. Crater Lake is one of the deepest lakes in the world, at the depth of 1,943 feet (592 meters). Over 183,000 acres of land & water are encompassed by the park. Boat tours of the lake are offered by the park, providing visitors with a unique perspective of the lake’s blue waters. The hiking trails of the CLNP range in difficulty from easy walks to challenging treks, such as the 33-mile (53km) Rim Trail. Phantom Ship Island, a small rocky island in the center of the lake, is one of the park’s most iconic landmarks.

The Pumice Desert of the Park, located on the east side of the lake, is a barren landscape of volcanic ash & pumice.

C.L.N.P is part of the Cascade Volcanic Arc, a chain of volcanoes that stretches from northern California to southwest British Columbia. The Fleetwood Cove Trail in the park is the only trail that provides access to the lake’s shoreline, allowing visitors to swim or boat in the crystal-clear waters.
