At its core, the “Sky OV” is a leap into the future of technological advancement. It’s powered by a combination of hydrogen fuel and electric power, ensuring zero emissions. This eco-friendly approach doesn’t compromise on performance, as the aircraft can reach a cruise speed of Mach 1.2 and a maximum speed of Mach 1.5, which translates to about 1,470 km/h and 1,837 km/h, respectively.

The aircraft’s design is a marvel in itself. It features a blended wing body fuselage, which enhances performance by optimizing mass distribution and flight behavior. This design allows for a spacious cabin, capable of accommodating up to 300 passengers in luxurious comfort. The wings of the “Sky OV” are designed to fold while parked, reducing the space needed at airports.

One of the most notable features of the “Sky OV” is its propulsion system. It employs a hybrid Dyson Fluidic Propulsion Air Multiplier (FPAM) bladeless engine, which is not only quieter but also more fuel-efficient than traditional turbojet engines. This system, coupled with Helmholtz cavities, significantly reduces noise, making the aircraft one of the quietest in its class.

Additionally, the “Sky OV” utilizes a hybrid Pulse Detonation Engine (PDE) and turbofan engine. This combination allows for efficient takeoff using the jet engine, followed by a switch to the more powerful detonation engine for high-speed cruising. This innovative approach to engine design enhances the aircraft’s performance, especially at high velocities.
