If your baby chews a Pull & Chew Montessori teething toy, take it away today. Its silicone strings can lodge in a child’s throat. A CPSC recall covers the toy, and the remedy is a refund from SHEIN. Consumers are asked to cut the silicone strings and email a photo of the destroyed toy. Here is how to check your toy, what to do with it, and how to claim your money back.

The SHEIN Pull & Chew teething toy recall covers about 644 Pull & Chew Montessori Teething Toys sold on SHEIN.com. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recall notice, number 26-782, is dated 17 September 2026. The toys come in green, pink, yellow or blue, with four strings in various colours. Look for the clear and white plastic pouch printed “BABY PRODUCTS” and “Crafted in Gentle Care.” SHEIN.com sold the toys from December 2025 through April 2026 for about $10. The importer is SHEIN Distribution Corporation of Los Angeles, California. The toys were manufactured in China, and no injuries or incidents have been reported.

The problem is the strings. The CPSC says they are smaller and longer than the mandatory toy safety standard allows. The silicone strings can reach the back of a child’s throat and become lodged there. The recall notice says this poses a risk of respiratory distress and a deadly choking hazard. If you bought one, stop using it now and take it away from children.
