The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of HARPPA’s Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower Stools (model HANS0002) after reports that the units can collapse or tip over, and that a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back — posing entrapment, fall and strangulation hazards.
HARPPA has received three reports of the tower stools collapsing or tipping over, resulting in two injuries (scrapes, cuts and bruises). No deaths have been reported. About 47,166 units were sold on Harppababy.com and Amazon.com from September 2023 through June 2026 for about $130.
The remedy is a free repair kit — including protective netting, stabilizing feet and installation instructions — not a refund. Owners should stop using the stool immediately, store it away from children, and contact HARPPA for the free repair kit. Federal law prohibits anyone from selling a recalled product. Do not resell or donate the stool.
