Ülker Snacks Recalled in 35 States for Undeclared Allergens: Wheat, Eggs, Milk

After a consumer reported an allergic reaction, ZB Importing LLC announced a voluntary recall of Ülker snacks across North America. The company discovered their snacks contain undeclared wheat, eggs, and milk. These ingredients can cause severe allergic reactions.

The company announced the voluntary recall on February 18. The products were distributed across 35 U.S. states and Ontario, Canada.

“The issue originated from a supplier who inadvertently failed to fully disclose all allergens while translating the ingredient list,” ZB Importing LLC explained. This means people with food allergies couldn’t tell these snacks were dangerous for them.

The FDA says allergic reactions to these hidden ingredients can be serious. They can cause everything from mild swelling to breathing problems that need immediate medical help.

The recalled snacks include strawberry rolls, hazelnut wafers, and chocolate biscuits. Some packages list ingredients incorrectly. Others miss important warning labels about allergens.

Each recalled product has specific UPC codes and expiration dates ranging from March 2025 to November 2025. For example, the strawberry Kekstra Mini shows “whey powder” but doesn’t mention it contains milk. The cocoa Biskrem doesn’t warn about wheat or eggs.

Customers should check their kitchen cabinets for these items:

– Ülker Kekstra Mini with Strawberry in 5.3 oz packs

– Ülker Rulokat Hazelnut Wafers in 6 oz containers

– Ülker Dankek Roll Cake with Strawberry in 8.3 oz packs

– Ülker Biskrem with Cocoa Biscuit in 10.6 oz packs

– Ulker Dankek Roll Cake with Chocolate in 3 oz packs

– Ulker Dankek Roll Cake with Banana in 8.3 oz packs

The company urges customers to return these products to their place of purchase for a full refund. They’re also implementing stricter labeling controls, including an additional verification process for multilingual labels.
