Viral Video of Tiger Charge on Wildlife Safari Reveals a Close Encounter

In a close encounter, a tiger charged at a group of tourists on a wildlife safari in the Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand state, India. A gripping video of the incident was shot during the encounter with the tiger. An Indian Forest Service official shared the video on Twitter.

The video clearly shows the tiger attempting to charge at the jeep while the guide tries to scare it away. Many who have seen the video have called the incident “harrowing”. Wildlife observers claim that the tiger was trying to scare the tourists away by “mock charging”.

Invading the personal space of wild animals can be dangerous. The incident happened near Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand. The tourists were capturing pictures of the tiger in a vehicle as the tiger charged at them.

The gripping video has gone viral on the internet. Susanta Nanda, an Indian Forest Service officer, shared the video on Twitter. Wildlife experts urge visitors to respect the boundaries of wild animals and maintain a safe distance.



Awareness and education about wildlife conservation and the dangers of interacting with wild animals are the only precautions that can help prevent similar incidents in the future.
