The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences declared the NEET PG 2026 result on September 24. Results are now available for candidates who appeared in the exam held earlier this year.
A total of 265,960 candidates appeared for NEET PG 2026 across two examination dates — 263,544 candidates on August 30 and a further 2,416 at a re-examination held on September 5 following a power failure at two centres in Jaipur. The result covers eligibility for postgraduate medical admissions across participating institutions for the 2026–27 academic year.
Individual scorecards and the answer key for NEET PG 2026 are expected to be made available on October 1. Candidates who want to review their section-wise marks and the official answer key against which papers were evaluated will need to wait for that release.
To access results, candidates should visit the official NBEMS website at natboard.edu.in. The result is published in the candidate login section. You will need your NEET PG 2026 registration number and date of birth to log in.
What comes next for NEET PG 2026 candidates
After the result, the counselling process determines actual seat allocations. The Medical Counselling Committee handles counselling for the 50% All India Quota seats at government medical colleges and all seats at central, deemed, and ESIC institutions. State governments run separate counselling for their 50% state quota seats.
Counselling dates are announced by MCC after the result is declared. Candidates should monitor the MCC website at mcc.nic.in for counselling schedule notifications.
