Three people were killed after an NBC4 news helicopter crashed in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, on Tuesday evening near the scene of a fatal bus collision.
The crash was reported shortly before 7 p.m., not in the afternoon. Current reporting and official updates should not be reduced to the phrase “three crew members died aboard,” because the available accounts did not establish that all three victims were inside the helicopter.
