Karmactive TeamNew Jersey state troopers found a 4-year-old boy & his dog who had lost their way in the woods and were missing for more than 60 minutes. Dramatic new body camera video shows the child crying as troopers rushed over to him in a wooded area almost half a mile from his home in Buena Vista Township.
The boy and his dog were unharmed but were found in a terrified state. The shaky video posted online starts with the dog barking in the woods and a trooper running towards the boy from a distance.
One of the troopers picks up the boy and says, “We’re here, buddy! I gotcha!” as the boy says, “I lost my shoes!”, followed by another one assuring him he’s OK and they’ll find his shoes. While the rescue was underway, the boy’s dog sprinted around and accompanied the troopers and the boy back home.
Fortunately, the terrified child was found safe and in good health with his dog by his side. Social media was elated with delighted comments about the dramatic footage, and the loyal dog.
