Former Fox Business producer Jennifer Eckhart has died at 36. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the death was a suicide. She was found at her Florida home on September 19.

Multiple outlets including TMZ, TCPalm, and the Miami Herald reported Eckhart’s death on September 21, with TCPalm and the Miami Herald attributing the confirmation of manner of death to a Martin County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson. Fox News and Fox Business had not issued a formal statement as of publication. Eckhart worked as a producer at Fox Business and later launched REINVENTED with Jen Eckhart, a podcast focused on personal development and recovery after trauma, as well as The Reinvented Project, a nonprofit organisation supporting trauma survivors. She was 36 years old.

Eckhart’s death was confirmed by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, which reported the manner of death as suicide. Readers looking for further details should rely on official statements from the sheriff’s office or reporting that directly attributes information to law enforcement, rather than unverified social media accounts.

Eckhart built an audience through her podcast REINVENTED with Jen Eckhart and through The Reinvented Project nonprofit after leaving broadcast television, addressing personal adversity and recovery in a public forum. She had previously spoken openly about legal proceedings in which she was involved. Her work extended beyond the Fox Business audience she had reached as a producer, drawing listeners and supporters who followed her story directly.
