The Swat Valley in Pakistan witnessed one of the tragedies when pre-monsoon flash floods drowned at least eight tourists and with many still missing. So far, rescue teams have saved 58 persons and proceeded with the search. The last 24 hours saw incidents being related to rains, maintaining a death toll of 18, with casualties happening in Punjab and Sindh. Authorities keep cautioning tourists to desist from flood-prone areas. PM Sharif expressed his sorrow and ordered his officials for strict vigil on safety near rivers and streams. More showers are forecast with the onset of the monsoon.

Severe thunderstorms swept across France from June 25 into June 26, 2025, killing two people, injuring at least 17, and leaving more than 110 000 homes without electricity. Lightning strikes, hail, and winds of up to 140 km/h (87 mph) were recorded as the storms brought over 40 000 lightning strikes across the country. Hundreds of trees were uprooted in Paris, and up to 20% of flights from Orly Airport were cancelled.

Torrential rain, flash floods, and cloudbursts have unleashed devastation across parts of Himachal Pradesh, leaving at least five people dead, several missing, and hundreds displaced. The worst-hit regions include Kullu, Kangra, Mandi, and surrounding districts. Authorities have issued an orange alert for June 29, warning of further rainfall, potential landslides, and flash flooding.
