PandaFresh has recalled its CuiHong Chili Oil Dipping Mix after discovering it contains peanuts not listed on the label. The product, also sold as CuiHong Spicy Dip, poses a serious health risk to people with peanut allergies.

The recall affects 10g sachets sold in packs of 10 with best-before dates of August 9, August 10, and October 12, 2025.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued an allergy alert on April 30, 2025, warning consumers about the potential danger. Peanut allergies can cause severe reactions in sensitive individuals, even from small amounts.

“If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat it,” the FSA warned in its alert.

Food recalls for undeclared allergens remain a significant safety concern in the UK food industry. Proper labeling of allergens is crucial for allowing people with food allergies to make safe choices.

PandaFresh continues working to ensure all affected products are removed from circulation and that customers receive proper information about the recall.
