Costco shoppers need to check their homes for several recently recalled products that pose serious safety risks. The retailer is urging customers to stop using these items immediately.
Danby window air conditioners sold between June 10, 2021, and February 2, 2022, have been recalled because water can pool inside the units, creating dangerous mold. These units have model number DAC080B6IWDB-6. Mold exposure can cause breathing problems and infections. Customers can return the air conditioner to any Costco location for a full refund or contact Midea at 1-888-345-0256 for a free repair kit.
BowFlex 552 adjustable dumbbells face an urgent recall after weight plates were reported falling off during use. This has caused 111 injuries including broken toes and concussions across nearly 350 reported incidents. Costco members should immediately stop using these dumbbells and return them to the store for a refund. Those who purchased elsewhere can call Johnson Health Tech Trading at 800-209-3539.
