Lottie Moss, the 27-year-old model and younger sister of Kate Moss, ended up in the hospital with a seizure after taking too much of the popular weight loss drug Ozempic.
“I honestly felt like I was dying,” Moss revealed about her frightening seizure experience. “They were holding me down. I was terrified.”
Moss got the drug “under the table” from a doctor without proper medical checks. She took a dose meant for people weighing over 220 pounds, despite weighing only around 110 pounds herself.
The results were swift and dangerous. Within just two weeks, she dropped nearly 15 pounds. The rapid weight loss came with severe side effects – constant vomiting, extreme tiredness, and the inability to eat or drink anything.
“You almost don’t even notice the weight loss because you’re so sick and tired all the time,” she explained.
Ozempic works by making people feel less hungry. Originally created for diabetes patients, it slows down digestion and tells the brain you’re full. The drug has become wildly popular among celebrities and regular people looking for quick weight loss.
Many users report similar side effects. Sharon Osbourne, who also used the drug, mentioned feeling sick and worried about long-term effects on her metabolism. Amy Schumer had to stop taking it because the side effects were too severe.

What makes Ozempic particularly tricky is the psychological pull it creates. Even after her hospital scare, Moss admitted: “I felt good because I was so slim, and I get how that feeling can be so addictive now.”
This psychological hook explains why some people keep using it despite the problems. Moss herself confessed she’s thought about using it again, even knowing the risks.
Doctors warn that without proper supervision, these drugs can cause serious health problems beyond just nausea. Severe dehydration from vomiting can lead to dangerous electrolyte imbalances that trigger seizures – exactly what happened to Moss. Other serious side effects include inflammation of the pancreas, gallbladder disease, and kidney problems.

The model now calls taking Ozempic “the worst decision I ever made” and warns others strongly against it: “Please, if you’re thinking about doing it, do not take it. It’s so not worth it.”
For those concerned about weight, doctors recommend speaking with healthcare providers about medically supervised options instead of seeking out these powerful medications through unofficial channels.
