Emirates airline and Uber signed a new deal on June 19, 2025, aiming to make travel smoother from door to destination. The agreement connects the Dubai-based airline with the global ride-sharing service in ways that could change how customers plan their trips.
Under this partnership, travelers will soon be able to book Uber rides along with their Emirates flights. This means arranging airport transfers or city transportation will happen in one step instead of two. The companies will also explore offering Uber rides to and from airports for certain Emirates customers.
For loyal customers, there’s more in store. Emirates Skywards members in the UAE will be able to earn miles when using Uber in select markets where Emirates operates. These miles can later be traded for Uber credits or ride vouchers.
“Emirates is excited to join forces with Uber as part of our commitment to delivering seamless travel experiences,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer. Anabel Diaz Calderon from Uber added that the partnership “will redefine the travel experience for millions of passengers.”

The agreement goes beyond just moving people. Both companies plan to explore using Uber’s delivery network for Emirates Courier Express services, potentially making package deliveries faster and more efficient.
This isn’t the first airline to team up with Uber. Delta Air Lines formed a similar partnership earlier in 2025, replacing its previous deal with Lyft. In Delta’s case, customers earn SkyMiles for airport rides, premium services, and even food orders over $40.

The exact details about when these benefits will start, how many miles customers can earn, and how the technical side will work haven’t been announced yet. Emirates and Uber say these specifics will be determined in the coming months. Both companies plan to run marketing campaigns to spread the word once everything is ready.
For travelers, this deal represents a growing trend of airlines looking beyond just flights to improve the entire journey. By addressing the often frustrating part of getting to and from airports, Emirates hopes to make travel more convenient while giving customers new ways to earn and use loyalty rewards.
