Costco’s Australian network is set to grow. Western Australia’s planning and lands minister John Carey stated that the Alkimos Central Home X Trade Hub will “support local jobs, services and economic development for years to come.” The warehouse has been confirmed as the anchor tenant in a $33 million precinct, with stage one expected to open in 2027. A Victorian site at Pakenham is slated for the same year.
