Another round of protests against Donald Trump and his administration have been planned across the United States on July 17 under the banner of Good Trouble Lives On. Organisers of the ‘No Kings’ Protest say that they are planning to continue another round of demonstrations in the next month. Multiple reports suggest the protests will be held on the fifth anniversary of the death of Rep. John Lewis, who was the last surviving member of the Big Six, which helped organize the 1963 March on Washington. This raised the question, “Is the Trump Government facing obstacles and instability?”

Arturo Gamboa, 24, was released from Salt Lake County Jail on Friday after being arrested for investigation of murder during a “No Kings” protest. During the rally of 10,000 people, “peacekeepers” spotted Gamboa with an AR-15 rifle and confronted him. When they opened fire, their shots wounded Gamboa and killed innocent bystander Arthur Folasa “Afa” Ah Loo, 39.
Gamboa never fired his weapon. A judge ordered his release with conditions including checking in with Pretrial Services, surrendering his passport, and not possessing firearms. His defense argues there’s insufficient evidence for murder charges since he didn’t shoot anyone.
