Dusky Sharks in Hadera: Rare Fatal Attack & Verified Context

A snorkeler was fatally bitten off Hadera, Israel, in April 2025. A later analysis in Ethology described multiple dusky sharks and a feeding‑frenzy sequence. Local waters near the Orot Rabin power station gather sandbar and dusky sharks in winter because of the warm‑water outflow. Public feeding has been reported in the area and is discouraged.
