RYOBI Recalls 113,000 Hedge Trimmers After 16 Injuries From Unexpected Blade Activation

A major safety recall has been issued for RYOBI 40-Volt 24-inch Cordless Hedge Trimmers after multiple users suffered cuts when the blades activated unexpectedly. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that TTI Outdoor Power Equipment is recalling about 113,000 trimmers sold in the United States and 15,000 in Canada because of a dangerous defect in the safety system.
