A major recall affecting more than 130,000 LG electric stoves in Canada has been issued due to a serious fire hazard. Health Canada announced the recall on Wednesday for LG slide-in and free-standing electric ranges sold between May 2016 and June 2024. The problem stems from the front-mounted knobs on these ranges, which can be accidentally turned on by people or pets. This unintended activation creates a significant fire risk in homes.
