FDA Targets BVO: Proposed Ban on Controversial Food Additive Over Health Risks

In a significant health move, the FDA is looking to put a stop to using brominated vegetable oil, or BVO, in our foods. This comes after some serious science work with the National Institutes of Health showed that BVO might not be as safe as we once thought.
