Australian health authorities just issued their first-ever public warning about a suspended Perth dentist.

Peter Terzi, who also goes by Peter Taylor, had both his dental and nursing licenses suspended in February.

Despite the suspension, authorities believe he's still treating patients and posing as a registered healthcare professional.

AHPRA took the unprecedented step of naming Terzi publicly because they believe he poses a "serious risk" to the public.

Terzi faces criminal charges for "knowingly and recklessly" claiming to be registered and performing restricted dental procedures.
