Empowering Healthcare Providers with Vecna Technologies’ Revolutionary Solutions

Vecna Technologies was founded in 1998 and is known for creating innovative solutions for hospitals to improve patient care.

Their products include intake systems for managing Covid-19 patient surges, prediction systems for maternity wards, and telepresence robots for connecting patients with loved ones.

Vecna Technologies has also created spin-off companies such as Vecna Robotics, a material handling company, and VecnaCares, a healthcare non-profit.

Deborah Theobald attended MIT for Aerospace Engineering and Daniel Theobald for Mechanical Engineering.

Deborah and Daniel met at MIT and discussed the possibility of starting a company together.

The company has had a commitment to community service from its inception, encouraging employees to dedicate 10% of their workweek to volunteerism.

VecnaCares, the company's non-profit arm, deployed VGo mobile robots to Liberia and Sierra Leone in 2014 to assist with the Ebola response.

Vecna Technologies is focused on expanding its impact in the home healthcare and extended care industries and plans to release a cost-effective home care robot later in the year to assist individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer's.
