Toyota Recalls 443K Tundras (2022–2025) for Reverse Light Failures

Toyota has issued a major recall affecting 443,444 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid pickup trucks from 2022 through 2025. The problem centers on reverse lights that can stop working when moisture gets inside the light housing. The defect happens because a multi-layer vent patch inside the light assembly can separate due to thermal cycling. This patch is designed to allow pressure equalization while preventing moisture from entering the electrical components.
