The Mission Golden eyed frog or Amazon Milk Frog is large species of arboreal frog native to the Amazon rainforest in South America. It is sometimes referred to as the Blue Milk Frog for the striking blue coloring of its mouth and feet. Amazon Milk Frog inhabit humid rainforest regions. They often inhabit vegetation which extends over permanent, slow moving water sources. It is named for poisonous, milky fluid it secretes when stressed.
