A 61-year-old man died after being pulled into an MRI machine while wearing a heavy metal chain at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, New York on July 17, 2025. Keith McAllister entered an MRI room during an active scan and was pulled into the machine by the powerful magnetic field attracting his metal chain, according to Nassau County Police.
