Opel has indeed fulfilled its promise and created a real-life version of the independently designed Rocks e-Xtreme. The concept was originally created by design student Lukas Wenzhöfer, who shared it online shortly after the production-spec heavy quadricycle was unveiled in September 2021. The 3D model of the Rocks e-Xtreme won the #OpelDesignHack competition in December 2022, and Opel decided to bring it to life as a result.
