At 3.88 meters long, the compact ID.Every1 fits between Volkswagen's discontinued up! (3.60m) and current Polo (4.07m), targeting urban commuters with its practical design.

The ID.Every1's 70 kW (95hp) electric motor delivers a modest top speed of 130 km/h (81 mph) with a driving range of just 250 kilometers (155 miles) per charge.

Critics question whether €20,000 is truly "affordable," especially when the Dacia Sandero costs under €15,000 and offers more interior space.

The limited 250km range falls short compared to similarly priced gas cars like the Hyundai i10, which can travel 705km (438 miles) on a full tank.

Following the €25,000 ID.2all arriving in 2026, the ID.Every1 completes Volkswagen's plan to offer nine new models by 2027, including four EVs—all aimed at European markets.

Volkswagen CEO Thomas Schäfer describes the ID.Every1 as "the last piece of the puzzle" in their strategy to become "the technologically leading high-volume manufacturer" by 2030.
