Hemp is a highly renewable, clean, environmentally friendly resource that has been held at bay for too long by the powers that be because of it's association with cannabis. Many years ago the newspaper industry, led by William Randolph Hearst, worked diligently to stop the production of hemp as a paper product in order to gain a monopoly in the lumber industry. The reputation of hemp has never quite recovered - nor have our non-renewable old-growth forests. Fortunately, KarmActive does not toe the party line and therefore encourages our visitors to re-discover the marvelous resource that is hemp.
